The technical translation is a specialized translation of documents related to technology areas and texts addressing the practical application of scientific articles, user manuals, etc. It encompasses many types of specialized texts and requires a high level of knowledge on the subject and mastery of the relevant terminology.
Sworn translation is the translation made by a public translator certified in one or more foreign languages and Portuguese, registered in the Board of Trade of their city of residence. Only the sworn translation is officially acknowledged by institutions and public organizations in Brazil and is valid as an official or legal document.
TRANSCRIPTION and SUBTITLING
The Transcription Service is the process of transcribing information included in audio or video media to a legible medium, in written text.
Subtitling is the display of texts synchronized with dialogues or narration of a movie, video or show. Usually, subtitles are at the bottom of the screen and have one or two lines of text.
SIMULTANEOUS/ CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
It is the act of translating orally and simultaneously what a speaker is saying into the language of one or more listeners, enabling the linguistic communication in meetings, debates, courses, conferences, etc. This communication is only possible thanks to professional interpreters fluent in their work languages and trained in translation, interpretation and communication techniques.
Consists of using edition software features, image treatment, text layout, etc. The desktop publishing is used to ensure the presentation of documents in their original format, with their contents duly translated.
Texts are reviewed with the utmost attention and care, ensuring their consistency, fluidity and terminology standardization. It can be done by comparing the original and the translated texts, or only with the end translated text (proofreading).
